Please visit www.rcmusic.com for more information. What is the Opportunity. Reporting to the Manager, Development, the Digital Learning Developer is responsible for building, integrating, and maintaining technical and multimedia components that support the organization's digital learning products

This role blends hands-on development and multimedia build work with system integration expertise to ensure learning solutions are reliable, scalable, and effectively embedded within the organization's learning technology ecosystem. The Digital Learning Developer plays a key role in supporting both day-to-day development activities and high-impact integration initiatives involving LMS platforms, APIs, and vendor-delivered solutions. Main Duties & Responsibilities Development & Build Execution Builds, enhances and maintains digital learning components, including interactive elements, multimedia-enhanced learning experiences, and front-end functionality.

Develops learning assets that integrate video, audio, graphics, and interactive elements in alignment with approved designs and standards. Contributes hands-on development support across new product builds, enhancements, and remediation initiatives. Collaborates closely with the digital learning team to implement cohesive, intuitive, and user-centered learning experiences based on approved designs and requirements.

Systems Integration & Backend Connectivity Supports integration between the LMS, learning platforms, and external systems using APIs and data services. Collaborates with internal technology and learning teams to understand, validate, and implement technical integration requirements. Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to data flow, authentication, content ingestion, and system connectivity.

Maintains clear documentation of integrations, technical dependencies, and end-to-end system workflows. Supports systems integration and connectivity work under the direction of the Manager, Development, in coordination with IT and Learning Ecosystems teams. Collaboration & Delivery Support Collaborates with the Manager, Development to support delivery planning, feasibility analysis, and effective technical execution.

Works closely with digital learning teams to translate instructional and product requirements into actionable technical solutions. Partners with Learning Ecosystems team to support successful deployment and integration of developed components. Provides technical input during launches, platform updates, and system changes.

Quality, Testing & Continuous Improvement Tests and validates development work to ensure performance, stability, accessibility, and usability standards are met. Supports the identification and remediation of technical issues across digital learning products. Adheres to established development standards, version control practices, and documentation protocols.

Identifies and contributes to improvements in development and integration practices to enhance efficiency and long-term sustainability. Operational Contribution Strengthens internal build and integration capabilities Supports knowledge transfer through clear documentation and shared practices to promote long-term maintainability. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across interconnected systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Experience working in education, training, or digital learning environments. Experience supporting the delivery of technical solutions, or platform enhancements, or system integrations. Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.

Salary Range $85,000 - $90,000 per annum Additional Information Office environment with the occasional requirement to work outside of regular office hours as needed. Hybrid work arrangement, working on-site at least 2 days per week at the RCM in Toronto, Ontario. Fast-paced environment involving multiple concurrent priorities and evolving technical needs.
