Apple is where individual imaginations gather together, committing to the values that lead to great work. Every new product we build, service we create, or experience we deliver is the result of us making each other's ideas stronger. That happens because every one of us shares a belief that we can make something wonderful and share it with the world, changing lives for the better. It's the diversity of our people and their thinking that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do. When we bring everybody in, we can do the best work of our lives. Here, you'll do more than join something - you'll add something.
In Developer Publications, we teach people to design and build incredible products and software for Apple’s platforms. Our audience includes developers getting their first introduction to Apple platforms, designers using our Human Interface Guidelines, accessory makers and industry partners, and advanced engineers learning our hundreds of frameworks.

Description
You'll be primarily responsible for authoring, editing, and maintaining CarPlay, CarPlay Ultra, and car keys specifications and other technical documentation for automotive partners, with opportunities to modernize workflows, develop documentation tooling, and contribute to broader developer-facing content. Responsibilities include:
- Partner with the Car Experience engineering team to analyze engineering specifications, research automaker needs, and gain a deep understanding of hardware specifications and implementation requirements
- Craft content delivery plans and schedules, and compose technical specifications that clearly communicate complex integration concepts
- Edit detailed technical specifications and other content produced by engineers
- Identify opportunities to modernize content workflows and formats for improved efficiency and quality
- Contribute to app development documentation and HIG guidance
