We are seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Specialist to join our Business Development team. The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s growth by coordinating the design, creation, and execution of external marketing initiatives. These initiatives will focus on promoting Dynamis Power Solutions’ offerings to key audiences, driving brand awareness, generating leads, and supporting sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing project management, a keen eye for design, and a proactive approach to supporting a fast paced marketing team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may")

  • Project Coordination & Execution: Lead the coordination, development, and execution of external marketing campaigns and initiatives across multiple channels, including digital, print, and events.
  • Develop Technical Marketing Collateral: Own and drive the development of marketing documents in conjunction with engineering upgrades and new product development, including the creation of product specification sheets and marketing brochures
  • Content Creation & Design: Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to create high quality content (brochures, social media posts, press releases, etc) that aligns with the company's brand and messaging.
  • External Communications: With oversight of the Communications team, oversee the creation of marketing materials and ensure alignment with the company’s voice, target audience, and service offerings.
  • Campaign Management: Assist in the planning and execution of multi channel campaigns to promote Dynamis Power Solutions' services to clients, prospects, and industry stakeholders.
  • Social Media & Digital Marketing: Support the creation and management of social media content and online advertising to build brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Sales Support: Provide marketing materials and support to the Business Development team, including presentations, case studies, press releases, and other collateral.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate marketing activities related to industry events, trade shows, and conferences, including promotional materials, design, and logistics.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports on performance and key metrics to leadership.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with Dynamis Power Solutions’ brand guidelines and positioning.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre employment drug screening, pre employment fit tests, pre employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Daily overtime required and in person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.  An equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Five or more years of experience in marketing, with a focus on external marketing initiatives in B2B or industrial sectors, preferably within the power generation, or energy industries.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, including social media (LinkedIn) and website content management.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or similar design tools. Knowledge of design principles and the ability to create visually appealing marketing materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating compelling content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams, including sales, product, and leadership.
  • Strong problem solving skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach to managing marketing projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Marketing Specialist works indoors in an office setting, primarily sitting for extended periods at a desk station. The role requires keyboarding and repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers. Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while reading and staring at a computer monitor. The Employee must speak clearly and audibly, and have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (e.g., building alarms) from in person speech, telephone, or remote communication. While in the office, the Employee may be called upon to stand, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift; therefore, the Employee should be able to independently lift 25 lbs. No adverse environmental conditions are expected.

Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
