We are currently seeking a Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to support ERP optimization, reporting, integrations, and business process improvement across finance and operations. This role works closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical system solutions, improve user adoption, and deliver meaningful reporting through Power BI.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and perform gap/fit analysis within Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Configure and optimize Business Central modules, including Finance, Inventory, Supply Chain, Sales, and Purchasing
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and scalable system solutions
  • Develop Power BI dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support financial and operational decision-making
  • Support integrations with third-party systems (APIs, web services, EDI, Azure tools)
  • Lead or support data migration, testing, UAT, system upgrades, and ongoing production support
  • Troubleshoot system, reporting, and integration issues; recommend long-term improvements
  • Create documentation, configuration guides, and training materials to support user adoption
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
  • Strong understanding of ERP processes (Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing)
  • Experience with system configuration, data migration, testing, and support
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI reporting and analytics
  • Experience with integrations (APIs, web services) or AL extensions preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Manufacturing, distribution, or consulting experience preferred
  • Microsoft certifications (Business Central, Power BI, or related) preferred
