Job Summary: The Microsoft Dynamics NAV Consultant will serve small-medium sized businesses with Microsoft Dynamics solutions and IT Support. The NAV Consultant will work to take a consultative approach to implement Navision products and services and ensure the deliverables meet our client's business objectives, along with providing pre and post-sales project support. This position is key to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and mutually beneficial long term relationships are established by providing proactive and reactive task and issue management as well as measuring success of project tasks.
This position will be key to building, maintaining and growing the client relationship to create their own billable hours, expanding into additional resources as the practice area grows. The position will be total billable hours driven.
Essential Functions:
• Take a consultant role within the application delivery team for Dynamics Navision including 3rd party applications.
• Provide effective delivery of consulting through quality of implementation and knowledge of Navision products and services
  • Provide strong subject matter expertise to identify and translate business and system requirements into design artifacts and documents.
  • Perform business and process analysis including documenting 'as-is' and 'to-be' solutions as part of detailed scoping documents.

• Interface with clients to ensure project deliverables meet expectations and act as a point of communication
• Work with the Account Managers in scoping engagements and to provide support for pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts, etc.
  • Recognizes and communicates client needs for additional products, support and consulting services to client and internal management.
  • Provide advice and guidance to clients on implementation strategies.

Required Skills:
• 3+ years of Dynamics NAV consulting experience
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009/2013/2015/2016
• Experience providing Pre-sales demos
• Experience working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions of Dynamics NAV
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• Requires knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, project management skills, leadership ability, superior interpersonal and communications skills, public speaking and negotiation skills.
• Must be highly motivated to attain company goals, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
