Job description

Join a dynamic engineering team focused on the design, integration, troubleshooting, and improvement of complex factory test equipment and automated systems. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong PLC and systems integration experience who enjoys solving complex technical problems and working across hardware, software, networking, and automation.

You’ll serve as a technical expert for PLC integration and complex equipment systems while collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, efficient solutions.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical expertise and support to engineering teams on complex projects.
  • Lead PLC integration, troubleshooting, and system improvements.
  • Develop and manage system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Design and support systems involving hardware, software, networks, and PLCs.
  • Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and drive corrective actions.
  • Lead a small team of 2–3 engineers/technical resources.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
  • Support continuous improvement and implementation of new technologies.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with PLCs and complex equipment integration.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot automated systems and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical leadership skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Associate or technical degree in Automation, Industrial Controls, Robotics, or related field.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLCs.
  • Experience with SQL and databases.
  • Experience with complex system integration projects.
  • Knowledge of engineering best practices and emerging automation technologies.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and continuous-improvement mindset.
