Job Summary:

This position is in the Municipal Bond Team, a key part of DWS Americas investment division. The team covers a wide range of products, including open-end mutual funds, institutional and and retail separately managed accounts. The Municipal Bond Team is seeking a candidate to join the team based in Boston.

The successful candidate will be part of the municipal credit analyst team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and assign internal credit ratings to investment grade general obligation and higher quality revenue bond sectors.

  • Formulate high conviction investment recommendations based on relative value, factoring in various account risk tolerances

  • Surveil credit trends for coverage universe

  • Develop new ways to make analyst coverage process more efficient

  • Lead efforts to maintain data integrity within various portfolio management and trading systems

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience with municipal credit analysis

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Highly proficient with Excel. Experience with Perform/CreditScope a plus

  • Have a keen sense of integrity and fiduciary responsibility; be client focused and a strong team player

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

The salary range for this position in Boston is $106,000 to $193,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
