Senior investment accounting analyst preferably with insurance industry experience, otherwise financial services expertise. The role requires leading multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

Functional Skills

Investment accounting experience - preferably within insurance industry - otherwise; financial services industry

Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to navigate various audiences (business and technical) plus highly skilled at collaboration

Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and advance initiatives in a fast-paced environment with strict timeline constraints - limited supervision expected

Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex business processes/requirements/problems and formulate business and/or technical solutions - including utilization of data analysis as support 

Ability to share and impart knowledge

Technical Skills

Intermediate Microsoft Word and Advanced Microsoft Excel

Prefer experience with investment accounting software and/or investment reconciliation software

Prefer knowledge of US GAAP/US Statutory investment reporting and foreign currency translation processes for investments

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience
