Job description

Your Healing Mission Matters

As an OB/GYN at Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC, you will be inspired by the community you serve as a valued member of the Lifepoint Health team, a nationally recognized healthcare organization committed to caring with a local heart. You'll have access to the staff, resources, and technologies needed to make a meaningful impact on patient care while contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment. Position Detail:

  • Full time, hospital employed, established serviceline

  • Spearhead the development of a new block schedule

  • Work 7on/7off covering a mix of inpatient deliveries/surgeries and seeing clinic patients

  • Current program composed of: a full time OB/GYN, a PRN OB/GYN, two full time CNMs and two NPs, with full office support

  • Standard clinic hours and shared weekday call, CNMs take first call

  • Average 20-25 clinic patients per day and 420 deliveries per year - one hospital coverage

  • Office has: Pessary fitting supplies, Colposcope, two procedure rooms, full supply of instruments for in-office procedures, M-Modal for dictation, Athena and Paragon EMR, point of care testing, LEEP equipment and ultrasound

  • daVinci Robot access

  • Direct referrals in place with Duke University for MFM and other specialties, while hospital has Level I Nursery
