Position Details

Duke Lifepoint is hiring a full-time Gastroenterologist to float between 2 Duke LifePoint Hospitals

  • Frye Regional Medical Center - Hickory, NC (1 hour from Charlotte, Asheville, & Winston Salem)
  • Haywood Regional Medical Center- Clyde, NC ( 25 minutes from Asheville)

Spearhead the development of a newly formed Travel Position

  • 1 employer - No locums companies
  • 1 contract

Schedule: 7 on 7 off Block between two desirable locations in North Carolina

  • 7 days at FRMC
  • 7days off
  • 7days at HRMC
  • 7days off
  • No requirement to relocate

Procedural Based

  • Inpatient Consultation and ED coverage only
  • Exclusive Block Time in Endo suites or OR
  • NO CLINIC requirement
  • Hospitals are equipped with General GI and ERCP scopes

Support

  • Care Team supported by Advanced Practice Providers to manage clinic visits
  • Certified Medical Assistant assigned to the physician for patient care coordination
