About the Position

This role is responsible for leading high-impact investment support functions and strategic initiatives that enable efficient, scalable, and risk-controlled operations. The position combines deep operational expertise, people leadership, and strategic influence to drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality support to investment teams globally. Operating within Investment Liaison Strategic Services (ILSS), part of the Shared Services organization in Global Investment Operations (GIO), this role plays a key leadership role in shaping operating models, enhancing service delivery, and aligning capabilities with evolving business and investment needs.

Role Summary

The KM3 role within ILSS provides end-to-end leadership for complex operational functions, associates, and strategic initiatives supporting global investment activities. This role is accountable for setting direction, driving execution, and ensuring operational excellence at scale, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance capabilities.

The role serves as a strategic partner and thought leader, bridging business priorities and operational execution. It is responsible for leading associates, influencing stakeholders, and shaping processes and solutions that support the broader objectives of Shared Services and GIO.

Responsibilities

  • Set strategic direction and oversee delivery of complex, global operational activities supporting portfolio management, ensuring scalability, quality, and strong control frameworks.

  • Lead and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, clear expectations, and ongoing feedback.

  • Drive organizational capability building, including talent development, succession planning, and knowledge sharing across ILSS and Shared Services.

  • Identify, prioritize, and execute large-scale process improvement and transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve service delivery.

  • Champion automation and data-driven solutions using tools such as Power Platform, Alteryx, and other technologies.

  • Participate in complex, cross-functional programs and strategic initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring successful delivery and adoption.

  • Act as an escalation point, providing guidance and decision-making on complex operational issues and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Establish and maintain robust governance, controls, and documentation to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and operational transparency.

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, influencing decisions through a consultative, strategic approach and effective communication.

  • Represent ILSS and GIO on cross-functional and firmwide initiatives, aligning operational capabilities with broader business objectives and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

  • 5+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred:

  • Meaningful experience within the investment management industry.

  • Proven ability to lead transformation efforts, including process redesign and automation.

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Advanced analytical and technical skills (Excel; Power Platform, Alteryx, DUCO a plus).

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to connect operational execution to business outcomes.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and change effectively.

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.

$87,000.00 - $148,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$95,500.00 - $163,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$108,000.00 - $185,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individualas relevant experience and skills for the role.A Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.A Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
