Job description

The Role


We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to be responsible for managing and optimising the company's IT systems and support services. This includes overseeing network administration, systems management, hardware management and deployment, cybersecurity, and collaborating with other departments to align IT initiatives with the company's overall objectives. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and an understanding of business needs.This is a 6-month contract role with potential for conversion to a full-time, permanent position contingent on business needs.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute on strategic IT, infrastructure, and Infosec projects
  • Support the day-to-day activities of the IT Ops team to ensure timely resolutions of technical issues
  • Maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation for team processes
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are appropriate and met
  • Manage and provide oversight on hardware and software management
  • Support IT incident and problem management
  • Support in implementing a strategic long-term IT roadmap and strategy
  • Ensure security and availability of networks, hardware, peripherals and enterprise network
  • Support in the optimisation of IT Costs
  • Support in the IT Supplier management of NA
  • Own hardware lifecycle in NA
  • Support in maintaining network infrastructure in the NA region


We are looking for someone with:

  • 2+ years of previous experience in an IT role
  • Previous experience working with global IT teams across multiple timezones
  • Previous experience managing IT assets
  • Previous experience managing corporate network, including network components
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Workspace, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Extensive knowledge of SAAS tooling and management
  • Extensive experience of implementing and managing IAM platforms
  • Extensive experience of managing MDM solutions across different platforms
  • Extensive experience with Windows, Mac and Linux hardware based devices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment where you may be responsible for developing novel solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
