Job description

The DSD Driver/Sales Representative, Bilingual English/Spanish – Pennsauken/Philadelphia Territory (Company Vehicle) is responsible for developing and growing retail accounts throughout Pennsauken, New Jersey and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role combines outside sales, customer relationship management, and local product delivery.

The position is based in the Pennsauken, New Jersey area and requires a weekly commute to our New Jersey facility (once per week only). All remaining workdays are spent servicing and growing the Pennsauken/Philadelphia customer territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and grow existing customer relationships throughout Pennsauken/Philadelphia area
  • Increase sales by promoting products and introducing new offerings to retail customers
  • Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to deliver products along assigned Pennsauken/Philadelphia routes
  • Deliver, unload, and merchandise products at customer locations
  • Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
  • Load orders into the system the day prior to delivery
  • Collect payments (cash/check) and complete end-of-day reporting
  • Accurately record sales and delivery information using a company tablet and handheld printer
  • Maintain daily driver logs and comply with all safety requirements

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Sales experience required (food industry experience strongly preferred)
  • Previous route sales or route driving experience preferred
  • Ability to operate a 16-foot truck
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based role
  • MUST be Bilingual English/Spanish
