Job description

Job Responsibilities Acts as the Assistant Division Director for Visitation and Inmate Drug Testing. Assists the Division Director in administering the statewide inmate visitation program for all prospective visitors of SCDC inmate. Supports consistent application of approval and disapproval criteria across all institutions and designated facilities.

Provides operational guidance to staff and assists with resolving visitation-related issue escalated from institutions. Supports the Division Director in managing the agency's inmate drug testing program. Assists in monitoring institutional compliance with required testing percentages, recordkeeping, standards, and documentation of results and disciplinary actions.

Coordinates administrative oversight of supply tracking, inventory accountability, and reporting requirements. Assists in overseeing scheduling and coordination of in-person and online visitation services through GTL. Works with institutions to address visitation cancellations, schedule changes, and operational disruptions.

SCDC Minimum Requirements: Master's degree and two (2) years of relevant experience in corrections, criminal justice administration, institutional operations, or program compliance. OR Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of relevant experience in corrections, criminal justice administration, institutional operations, or program compliance

OR Associate's degree and six (6) years of relevant experience in corrections, criminal justice administration, institutional operations, or program compliance. OR High school diploma and eight (8) years of relevant experience in corrections, criminal justice administration, institutional operations, or program compliance. Must have at least one (1) year of experience in policy-driven program administration and record/audit compliance.
