Distinguishing Features of Work An employee in this class is responsible to perform routine criminal investigation, law enforcement and process serving tasks. Duties include responding to calls for service within a patrol area and enforcing laws by proactive patrolling and investigating crimes. The work is performed under the direction of assigned supervisory staff.
