Job description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services (Housekeeping) Technician to join our hospital team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe healthcare environment through cleaning, disinfecting, and supporting daily operations throughout the facility.
What you will do:
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms and assigned areas following infection prevention standards
  • Follow PPE guidelines and healthcare safety protocols
  • Work safely in patient care areas requiring different levels of isolation precautions, including contact, droplet, and airborne precautions
  • Safely clean areas where exposure to bodily fluids and other healthcare-related materials may occur while following established safety procedures
  • Perform floor care, window and wall cleaning, waste removal, linen transport, and other housekeeping duties
  • Maintain organized supply areas and support department needs
  • Participate in team huddles, training, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide excellent service while demonstrating compassion and respect for patients, families, and coworkers
