The Austin Rising Fast Motor Cars Team provides customers with a curated car-buying experience. Our priority with every sale is to provide reliable, affordable, and safe transportation to customers nation-wide. We specialize in selling pre-owned luxury cars and SUVs (like Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, BMW, Porsche, and the like) but we also have cars on the property that suit all manner of budgets!
Austin Rising Fast Motor Cars originated in has been operating in the great state of Texas for the greater part for over 30 years. We were the 2018 winner of Texas Quality Dealer of the Award by the Texas Independent Automobile Dealers Association (TIADA) out 16,000 other independent car dealers. Our dealership was the National Quality Dealer semi-finalists of 2019. We are always looking to add to our fabulous team in order to continue providing the greater Austin area with an excellent car-buying experience!

Job Description
Sales Consultant Duties and Environment:
The position entails following-up with previous and potential customers (no cold-calling), posting new vehicles on various listing websites, scheduling appointments with customers, understanding customer needs, meet a customer need, and close that need.
  • The salesperson will be expected to spend time walking the lot to greet customers and demonstrating vehicles along with moving vehicles when necessary and at any time of the year or in any season.
  • Address and answer customer questions and assist them in every aspect of buying an automobile. We like to escort our customers through the sales process.
  • The salesperson will need to fact-find. Attentively listen to the needs of customers. Gather documentation and paperwork needed for the sale.
  • They will arrange test drives for customers and ride along in order to demonstrate the features and options of the car.

Daily Responsibilities but Are Not Limited to:
  • Checking in new cars
  • Stocking in cars
  • Fueling cars
  • Driving to other dealers for dealer trades
  • Helping to rearrange the lot
  • Moving cars in and out of the showroom
  • Scheduling deliveries and or repairs
  • Prospecting
  • Scheduling after sales installations and any other related tasks that determined by the sales manager.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
  • Working knowledge and experience with the automotive industry is a must.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in sales and customer relations is expected.
  • Comfort being a part of social media and marketing campaigns. Our followers love to see our team on Social Media.
  • A BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Ability to lift and carry 25lbs.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with building rapport, establishing trust, and earning customer loyalty.
  • The ability to address customer needs in a prompt, polite, and effective manner.
  • Capacity to work closely with the Social Media and Marketing Teams to continually improve niche in market; and assist in the development of messaging, sales tools, campaigns, promotions and other marketing plans.
  • Willingness to prepare cars for sale; including fueling, moving, demoing, and inspecting vehicles.
  • The ability to work cooperatively but competitively, leads are provided but sales associates are expected to pursue these opportunities and make those sales with minimal assistance.
