Job description

The CFA Delivery Driver ensures quality food is delivered to the guest in a timely manner while exhibiting Chick-Fil-A Hospitality. This position works closely with the CFA Delivery Dispatcher to ensure excellence in this area of our business.

Compensation: Hourly pay rate of $10.00 plus tips

Requirements:

  • 21+ years old
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours per week
  • Has at least a high school diploma
  • Must pass Driver Safety Test
  • Must complete Pathway video training within 14 days of employment  
  • Great attitude
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Skills:

  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the CFA Delivery system (Bringg App, DigitalQ App)
  • Able to multitask and make reasonable decisions quickly, including troubleshooting common delivery issues
  • Well organized and attentive to details
  • Ability to quickly learn routing and make appropriate decisions with traffic delays

Job Responsibilities:

  • Always treat customers with kindness, honesty, respect, and hospitality
  • Comply with all Delivery Driver guidelines as stated in the Delivery Driver manual
  • Obtain Food Handler Certificate within 7 days of employment
  • Complete Pathway video training within 14 days of employment
  • Help differentiate Chick-fil-A from competitors in the delivery market 
  • Represent Chick-fil-A by being presentable (uniform compliant), efficient and friendly 
  • Good driving record 
  • Maintain safety and environment awareness
  • Ensure all products are bagged for safe transport before leaving the store
  • Include all condiments, utensils and paper goods per our guests' requests
  • Deliver food with freshness and quality in a timely manner
  • Follow all traffic laws and maintain safety awareness while driving  
  • Keep delivery vehicle clean and organized
  • Assist in restaurant operations when not on a delivery
