Position Title: AI Data Collection Specialist

Duration: 3 Month Contract with potential extensions

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19103

Pay Rate: $22/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Required Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable using smartphones and mobile technology
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and standardized processes
  • Reliable transportation for local travel

  • Experience with data collection, photography, videography, or field operations
  • Experience using cameras, smartphones, or gimbal equipment

Job Description

About the Role We are seeking AI Data Collection Specialists to support the development of computer vision, robotics, and artificial intelligence systems. You will travel to assigned collection locations and use an iPhone and gimbal to capture high-quality video and image data of real-world objects — furniture, household items, decorative objects, retail products, sculptures, and other assets used for AI training. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in technology, robotics, AI, photography, or data collection who enjoy hands-on work and attention to detail. Responsibilities Travel to assigned collection locations within the local area Capture video and image data using an iPhone and gimbal Follow collection guidelines and project requirements Record objects from multiple angles and viewpoints Verify data meets quality and completeness standards Document completed collection sessions; charge and secure assigned equipment nightly Complete end-of-day data uploads (approx. 1–2 hours) Report equipment or data quality issues as needed Example Collection Tasks Pots, planters, and decorative items Statues, sculptures, and artwork Chairs, tables, and furniture Household products and consumer goods Kitchen and dining items Retail merchandise Small indoor objects and accessories
