Job description

About the Role

At Uber, we are determined to become a zero-emissions, zero-waste platform. We have already committed to becoming a net zero carbon business by 2040. By 2030, we will achieve zero emissions in all major U.S., Canadian, and European cities, and 100% of Uber Eats orders will be delivered using reusable, recyclable, or compostable packaging options globally. More detail on our commitments and plan can be found here.

We are building a scaled charging business for earners on the Uber platform that supports our drivers while advancing our sustainability goals. This role is a unique opportunity to help lead operations for Uber's Charging program globally, with direct responsibility for Charge Point Operator (CPO) operational management, including the health, performance, and growth of strategic charging partner relationships across multiple countries and geographies.

You will also own the day-to-day operational backbone of the charging business, with a strong focus on driver operations: understanding driver needs, collecting feedback, driving adoption, supporting activations and communications, resolving issues, and ensuring the operating model scales cleanly over time. You will own the overall tracking of program-wide performance, key-metrics, and KPIs, as well as identify where operations can become more efficient, automate recurring workflows, and work cross-functionally to introduce better tools and processes.

What You Will Do
  • Own core charging operations and program management across Uber's global markets, including launch readiness, market setup, and ongoing business support
  • Support launch governance and operational readiness across new and existing markets
  • Lead driver operations as a core workstream, with responsibility for driving demand, improving retention, and improving the overall driver experience
  • Manage driver-facing workflows, including communications, feedback collection, incentives, activations and events, and escalation handling
  • Support day-to-day CPO operations, including reconciliation, payment disputes, and recurring operational follow-up
  • Track key business-health metrics and use them to identify bottlenecks, risks, and areas for improvement
  • Build and maintain the processes, playbooks, and operating cadence needed to support a growing charging business, including internal QBRs and other key governance initiatives
  • Identify operational pain points and lead cross-functional efforts to streamline, automate, or redesign processes, including scalable operating standards that can be reused as the business expands
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Community Operations, Marketing, and regional Operations teams to scale execution.
Basic Qualifications
  • Min 5 years of experience in operations, program management, business operations, marketplace operations, or a related role
  • Strong ability to manage processes, track metrics, and drive execution across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience supporting fast paced launches or market expansions
  • Proven track record of managing complex programs or multi-market operations from initiation through scaling and execution.
  • Familiarity with reconciliation, payments, disputes, or customer-support workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to solve operational problems in a structured and scalable way
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear communicator who can coordinate across teams and keep priorities moving
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment with ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to spot patterns, identify issues, and recommend practical solutions
  • Collaborative team player with strong ownership and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in EV charging is preferred
  • Experience in EV charging, mobility, logistics, marketplaces, or another operationally intensive business
  • Exposure to process design, operational automation, or business-health reporting
  • Experience working with or implementing tools that improve operational efficiency
