Job description

Nightwing is looking to hire a detail driven manual test engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software. In this role, you will work closely with scrum masters, developers, and other Quality Assurance professionals to ensure our applications are reliable, intuitive, and ready for real-world use. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with a keen sense of ownership, comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment, and has a collaborative mindset with passion for quality and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in technical environments, enjoys problem solving, and understands how software interacts with broader IT ecosystems.
What You Will Get to Do:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Analyze product features, design test parameters, create customized quality checks, and write test reports.
  • Performs hands-on manual and exploratory testing for all software releases.
  • Identify, document, and drive resolution of defects.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Validate fixes to ensure issues are resolved and nothing else broke.
  • Participate in regression testing to confirm fixes and prevent reintroducing issues.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
  • Contribute to test planning, including decomposing requirements into test scenarios.
  • Accurately estimate testing efforts for project planning and tracking and provide input to scrum master.
  • Partner closely with scrum masters and developers to ensure smooth, high-quality releases.

Salary & Benefits
The salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
