JOB SUMMARY:


The Experienced Drift Boat Welder is responsible for the precision welding, fabrication, and assembly of high-quality aluminum drift boats and components. This role requires advanced aluminum MIG and TIG welding skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications to produce industry-leading products. The welder will work closely with production teams to ensure all boats meet Pavati’s rigorous quality, safety, and performance standards.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and operate aluminum MIG and TIG welding equipment.
  • Review prints, drawings, and provided parts to verify specifications and accuracy for each job.
  • Weld, cut, and grind aluminum of varying widths to meet structural and cosmetic requirements.
  • Inspect completed welds and components to ensure they meet company quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe welding booth and work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
  • Follow established fabrication processes while contributing to continuous improvement in welding and manufacturing operations.
  • Uphold Pavati’s high craftsmanship standards in building world-class aluminum drift boats.
Requirements:


  • Aluminum welding experience required (MIG & TIG) minimum of 5 years.
  • Welding certification is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and work ethic.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to established fabrication procedures.
