Job description

Now Hiring: Experienced Drywall Hangers & Metal Framers (Travel Position)

DreamVille Staffing is currently seeking experienced Drywall Hangers and Metal Framers for an out-of-town commercial construction project. If you're dependable, experienced, and ready to travel, we'd like to hear from you!

Position Responsibilities:
  • Install metal stud framing according to blueprints and project specifications.
  • Hang drywall on walls and ceilings in commercial buildings.
  • Measure, cut, and fit drywall panels accurately.
  • Install track, studs, soffits, and other framing components.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship.
  • Follow all OSHA safety regulations and job site requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Drywall Hanger and/or Metal Framer.
  • Must have your own hand tools required to perform the job.
  • Ability to read blueprints is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site or designated meeting location.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Job Requirements:
  • Out-of-town travel is required.
  • Hotel accommodations are split 50/50 between the employee and employer.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check to obtain access to military base facilities.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have a strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a commitment to safety.
