Security Officer — UT Football Home Games - 78701

Security Officer — UT Football Home Games

$21.00/hour | Seasonal Event Security | Austin, TX | 1+ Year Experience Required

Our team is looking for dependable, professional Security Officers to provide security coverage during UT football home games in Austin.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced security professionals who are comfortable working in a busy event environment, interacting with guests, monitoring assigned areas, and responding professionally to security concerns.

Position Details

  • Pay: $22.50 per hour
  • Location: Austin, TX
  • Friday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Saturday Morning: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
  • Saturday Overnight: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Experience Required: 1+ year of security experience

What You'll Do

  • Assist guests and direct them to designated areas
  • Monitor floors, lobby areas, and assigned posts
  • Respond to security incidents and take appropriate action
  • Assist with managing the resolution of security-related incidents
  • Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports
  • Communicate with supervisors and client representatives regarding security concerns
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and other authorities when necessary
  • Monitor security equipment and report equipment issues
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and staff
