Job description

We are seeking an ARNP or PA-C to join our busy, rural, well-established primary care clinics affiliated with Boone County Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated APP who enjoys caring for a diverse patient population in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Position Highlights:
• Full time position which will include inpatient rounding and call
• Practice in a rural clinic affiliated with a Critical Access Hospital
• Broad scope of practice with a diverse patient population across the lifespan
• Strong teamwork with physicians, nursing, and care team members
• Dragon voice recognition and AI-assisted documentation tools to reduce charting burden and support work-life balance
• Community-focused practice where providers are truly valued
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive primary care services including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care
• Conduct patient histories, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interprofessional team members
• Utilize Dragon and AI documentation tools to support efficient, high-quality clinical documentation
• Assist with inpatient rounds in a rotation with other APP's and Physicians
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited ARNP or PA-C accredited program
• Current (or ability to obtain) state licensure in the state of Iowa
• Current DEA and CSA
• ACLS, BLS and PALS required for this position
• Three to Five years Primary care experience required do to inpatient responsibilities
