Portfolio Supervisor Assistant Job Description
Reports to: Portfolio Supervisor Assistant
Department: Operations
Employment Status: Full Time or Part Time Hourly
Company Overview: Swami International was established in 1978. The founder envisioned a company with a hands-on management style, a property management company that would be directly involved with all aspects of providing a comfortable, affordable living environment for our residents.
Position Overview: The Portfolio Supervisor Assistant (PSA) is an integral part of the operations team, assisting the Portfolio Supervisor(s) and other team members to provide excellent tenant relations, ensure Swami is compliant with local and federal regulations, and optimize asset performance. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, is well organized, & enjoys interacting with a wide spectrum of tenants.
Core Responsibilities: The PSA will report directly to the Associate Director of Operations and support the entire Operations and Front Office team. Duties of the PSA will include:
Portfolio Assistance:
  • Filing and organizing of tenant leases and other documents
  • Conducting Move-in and Move-out processes
  • Delivering notices and other documents to the tenants
  • Assisting Portfolio Supervisors with tenant issues as needed

Marketing:
  • Assisting in marketing and hosting Open Houses
  • Managing marketing postings in Facebook and other social media
  • Assisting Front Office in managing marketing posts on Appfolio

Collections and Delinquencies
  • Assisting Portfolio Supervisors with delinquency duties, including phone calls, organizing files for evictions, and drafting notices

Requirements:
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to changing goals and priorities
  • Ability to lift and carry 25lbs.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Experience in a professional office setting preferred but not required
  • Experience in property management preferred but not required
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus

Compensation:
  • Non Exempt: $18- $23/hour
