Job description

Design/Drafting Engineer

The Design/Drafting Engineer will be reviewing engineering drawings throughout the release process. This individual will be taking drawings from other engineering teams to make corrections to the drawings and route them to approval. They will additionally be taking engineering drawings or specs and create inspection plans to put into their MES system. They will need to be able to engineering drawings or specs and create the inspection routing. Then they will get that implemented in the quality lab and update routings based on the feedback from other departments. There are four openings. Two can have a mechanical background and two can have an electrical background. A degree is not required but is nice to have. Looking for an individual with three to five years of working experience. They will consider someone with ten years of experience. This role is fully onsite and these individuals are required to be there during "core" working hours which are from 9-4. There is an opportunity for overtime. The reason this position is open is because the demand is growing for the company creating increased volume for their drawing and technical releases. They are also doing a system migration with a due date of September 1st.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
