Salary:  $34,129.05 - $54,573.58

Job Summary:

The Department of Public Safety is filling multiple DPS Service Employee positions in the Phoenix area.  These positions are designed to provide training and experience while performing administrative and clerical tasks.  The successful candidates will perform special projects, functions, and administrative tasks working business hours Monday - Friday.  We invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join a team, receive training, and have opportunities for promotion and advancement.

Under direct supervision, performs work in a structured or unstructured program to gain practical work experience in one of the administrative, professional or technical fields within the Department.  May rotate from assignment to assignment within the agency to learn and contribute to administrative, professional or technical processes. Performs related duties as assigned. This classification is designated as uncovered. Incumbent serves at the pleasure of the Director of the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent by start of employment.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Office setting.
  2. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 35 pounds).

If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply: Driver's License Requirements.
