The Department of Public Safety is looking for someone to assist with logistical tasks related to the department fleet. This job will include inventorying, distributing, and physically loading/unloading department emergency vehicle equipment as part of the upfitting process. Job duties will also include the removal and disassembly of installed emergency equipment from retired patrol cars.
Job Duties:
- Familiarity and usage of basic tools in an automotive application (tools provided)
- Repeated moderate to heavy lifting
- Must be self-motivated, trustworthy, dependable, and able to work well with others
- Part Time: 25-29 hours per week
- Hours must be worked during standard business hours
- Potential for future full-time position
Preference may be given to those with previous experience in automotive mechanical and/or electrical systems.
