Job description

We are looking for a well seasoned First Class Manual Machinist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We are not looking for apprentices to train as we already have a couple in training. We need Someone who can help train them, so please, if you do not have actual 1st class MANUAL Machinist experience, do not apply, the application will not even be accepted. We apologize for the inconvenience but we are just a small shop(small as in 5 employees total- not to be confused with our work load or actual size) doing major specific jobs that it is detrimental the machinist knows what they are doing 100%

 Key details:

Requirements

- 10 years of manual machining experience (first-class machinists only)

- Able to operate:

- Manual lathes

- Manual milling machines

- Must pass:

o Drug screening

o Background check

- Some overtime required

- Must be available to be on call on some weekends(not often)

Schedule

- Monday–Thursday

- 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
