This is a full time position with shifts that start at 4:00am. *Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment.

Responsibilities
The bread mixer's primary responsibilities include mixing and preparing hundreds of hand-formed artisan breads each shift. This will involve prepping produce and deli products for bakery items; mixing and scaling ingredients; benching dough; loading carts and racks with product; lifting and stacking flour; and operating all kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, mixers and dough dividers while maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment. In addition, they will assist the bakery clerks and provide world-class service to our guests as needed.
Qualifications
You should meet the following minimum requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Physical ability to mix hundreds of pounds of dough and form into loaves
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Have intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery products
  • Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage
  • Have a passion for putting out a great product consistently
  • A positive attitude is essential!
