Job Summary:
ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions is a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions. They are seeking a strong C#/.NET Core Developer to design, build, and support secure backend services and RESTful APIs in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
• Build backend services supporting user permissions, application configuration, and availability settings.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server stored procedures and database interactions.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using Entra ID, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to integrate secure APIs.
• Ensure code quality through clean architecture, testing, code reviews, and refactoring.
• Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and production issues.
• Participate in technical design discussions and documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+ skills.
• Experience building ASP.NET Core APIs and RESTful services (Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Solid SQL Server experience, including schema design, joins, indexes, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Understanding of secure API development, authentication/authorization, and backend performance considerations.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Ability to support and troubleshoot production systems.
Preferred:
• Azure App Service and Application Insights.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frontend integrations.
• SSRS, xUnit, and IIS experience.
• Familiarity with OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows.
