Description:

Summary: The Data and Database Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, integrity, and optimization of the organization’s donor database (CRM). This role supports the Development team by ensuring accurate data entry, maintaining donor records, generating reports, and improving systems that drive fundraising efforts. The Coordinator plays a key role in enabling data-informed decision-making and strengthening donor engagement.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

· Maintain and coordinate the donor database, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and completeness

· Establish and enforce data entry standards, policies and procedures

· Oversee data imports, exports and system updates

· Accurately record and reconcile donations, pledges and other contributions

· Ensure timely gift entry and proper donor acknowledgment process

· Maintain confidential donor and financial information in compliance with organizational policies

· Generate regular and ad hoc reports on fundraising performance, donor trends and campaign results

· Support development team with data analysis to inform strategy and decision making

· Track key metrics such as donor retention, acquisition and campaign ROI

· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

· Proficiency in database management and reporting tools

· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills


Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in non-profit management, information systems, business, or related field preferred. Work experience can be substituted for education.

· 2-4 years experience coordinating a donor database or CRM system (e.g., e-Tapestry, Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, Bloomerang, etc.)

· Experience in a non-profit or development environment strongly preferred

· Standard office environment with hybrid work flexibility

· Some evening and weekend work required to attend events
