We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary
This role is responsible for providing project management of complex Electric Transmission or Distribution projects. Typically projects such as end of life rebuilds, load projects, circuit or VDOT rearrangements, interconnect projects, substation and transmission line work, greenfield and/or expansion, capital upgrade projects, nontraditional work. Ensures project results meet requirements and provides timely and accurate information and status updates to management and internal and external customers. Responsible for complex scope, cost development, validation, complex permitting, work plans, and environmental studies. Active participation in key project stakeholder negotiations.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Manage the total lifecycle of a project from conception to final completion.
  • Complete projects safely, on time, and on budget.
  • Ensure coordination between project teams including Engineering, Permitting, Construction, Operations, external customers, and other functional groups.
  • Work with SOC to set up outages as required using iTOA
  • Track project costs and maintain accurate monthly and yearly projections in CPM.
  • Monitor project schedules using SAP.
  • Update project information systems as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
  • 7+ years of directly related experience in engineering, construction and/or electric transmission.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to represent the project and the company in public forums.
  • Strong team building skills.
  • Effective negotiating skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education.
Preferred Disciplines: Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology
Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
Project Management Certification preferred.

The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position.
