Position Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Supervisor to support the daily operations of our Engineering team. This role ensures the maintenance, safety, and functionality of all hotel facilities, systems, and equipment in alignment with Westin and Marriott brand standards.

You will lead and support engineering associates, helping to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that enhances the overall guest and associate experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily engineering operations, including preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Lead, coach, and support engineering associates to ensure high performance and accountability
  • Ensure all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical) are properly maintained
  • Respond to and resolve guest and operational maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Support scheduling and assignment of work orders based on business needs
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies
  • Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies
  • Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance logs and documentation
  • Collaborate with other departments to support seamless hotel operations
  • Adhere to and uphold company attendance and punctuality standards, ensuring reliability and consistent coverage to support operational needs

 Qualifications
  • 3+ years of engineering, maintenance, or facilities experience in hospitality or a related field
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to heat and mechanical equipment

Compensation

$28.00 – $30.00 per hour
Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and business needs.
