Physical Therapist Assistant Full-Time
Location: Raritan, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: M-F, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Patient Load: 1 patient per hour
Salary Range: $70K-$80K/year DOE + Benefits
Job Summary
We're looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to support outpatient rehabilitation services in a private practice. This position involves carrying out treatment plans, assisting patients with movement and strengthening activities, and monitoring progress throughout each session. The PTA will work closely with the Physical Therapist to help ensure patients receive organized, effective, and safe care.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver treatment activities under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
  • Help patients complete therapeutic exercises correctly
  • Track patient progress and response to treatment
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation
  • Support patient safety during all therapy activities
  • Help keep treatment rooms prepared for each visit

Requirements
  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Active New Jersey PTA license
  • Outpatient experience preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
