Job description

Automotive Accounting Assistant


We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join our dealership team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in accounting, finance, or automotive dealership operations and is looking to gain hands-on experience.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and willing to learn. Automotive or accounting experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks
  • Process and organize invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile transactions and verify financial information
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in accounting/dealership systems
  • Assist with deposits, payments, and other dealership accounting functions
  • Maintain organized records and files
  • Communicate with other dealership departments regarding accounting questions or documentation
  • Assist the accounting office with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Dependable and able to work independently
  • Professional communication and customer-service skills
  • Willingness to learn new accounting and dealership software
  • Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or dealership experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule

Part-time schedule with approximately 25 hours per week.
