Job Title: Sr. Documentation Specialist Location: Lake Forest, IL 60045 Duration: 9-months contract with potential extension up to 12 months Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Job Summary The Documentation Specialist Sr. is responsible for coordinating and managing controlled documentation processes within a regulated environment. This position supports the creation, review, revision, maintenance, and control of quality and operational documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. This is a highly collaborative, desk-based role requiring extensive use of electronic document management systems and multiple computer applications. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to manage documentation activities, support process improvements, drive project timelines, and ensure document accuracy and completeness. The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization, attention to detail, and quality. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage controlled documentation processes in a regulated environment.
  • Create, review, revise, approve, and maintain quality and operational documentation.
  • Ensure documentation compliance with internal procedures, policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize document management systems and other electronic platforms to support document control activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of documentation projects.
  • Track document workflows and maintain document accuracy and integrity.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to documentation processes.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while meeting established deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
Required Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in document control, documentation management, quality systems, or a related regulated environment.
  • Experience working with electronic document management systems.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and documentation projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
