Document Processing Consultant

BizTek People is in search for an experienced Document Processing Consultant for our client in NYC! Duration: 3-Month Contract Start Date: ASAP Work Schedule: Onsite

We are seeking a Document Processing Consultant to support document custody and loan documentation operations within a corporate banking environment. This role is responsible for the receipt, scanning, tracking, filing, and secure storage of credit-related documents while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document & Vault Management Support daily vault custody and document control operations.
  • Receive, inspect, track, scan, and file loan and credit transaction documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of document movement and storage.
  • Ensure timely processing of documentation into the organization's imaging system.
  • Safeguard confidential banking and lending records.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding document custody procedures and outstanding issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve document processing and custody-related exceptions.
  • Assist with maintaining procedural controls and operational standards.
  • Provide periodic status updates regarding vault inventory and document custody activities.
  • Support special projects and additional assignments as requested by management.
  • Adhere to banking regulations, internal policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in required compliance training programs.
  • Follow established codes of conduct and information security standards.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5โ€“10 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance, Loan Operations, or Documentation Control.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience handling and maintaining financial or legal documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred

  • Experience with document imaging and document management systems.
  • ONBASE experience is a plus.

  • Able to manage sensitive documentation with accuracy and discretion.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced corporate banking environment.
