The Senior Transaction Management Associate plays a critical role in leading and executing GNMA delivery cycles, loan sale preparation, and securitization activities within the Transaction Management department. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with government and agency requirements (GNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA), maintaining accurate documentation, and proactively resolving loan data exceptions that could impact transaction execution.
Beyond its core transaction duties, this role owns GNMA pool creation, delivery execution, and monthly buyout activities. It requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, document custodians, GSEs, and third-party partners to ensure all transaction workflows are completed on time, accurately, and in compliance with applicable requirements.
Responsibilities
Transaction Execution & GNMA Delivery
  • Own the end-to-end GNMA delivery process including data validation, pool balancing, and data reconciliation with custodians
  • Lead monthly GNMA buyout processes, including loan identification, execution, and coordination with servicing and custodial partners
  • Lead and execute monthly GNMA delivery cycles, ensuring timely and accurate submission of pools and supporting documentation
  • Construct GNMA pools in GinnieNet and manage pool entry process
  • Research, document, and resolve loan data exceptions prohibiting delivery or securitization
  • Partner with internal teams and GSEs to prepare mortgage loans for sales and securitizations, ensuring compliance with agency requirements
  • Identify trends and proactively address root causes impacting transaction timelines or delivery success

Requirements
  • Minimum of 7+ years of mortgage servicing experience with an emphasis on transaction management
  • High school diploma required
  • Strong understanding of GNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA requirements
  • Hands-on experience with GNMA pool creation, GinnieNet, and delivery processes strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with loan sale/acquisition and securitization processes
  • Working knowledge of servicing systems (Black Knight/LPS, MSP preferred)
