JOB SUMMARY:
The Document Control Clerk is responsible for reviewing, managing, and organizing company documents to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This role supports various departments by ensuring that documents are properly filed, updated, and accessible when needed.
JOB DUTIES:
  • Perform Job Order reviews for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures
  • Maintain, track, file and scan Job Orders and other controlled documents, including physical and electronic records
  • Maintain onsite/offsite document storage, retrieval, and destruction
  • Supports interdepartmental Document Control requests
  • Responsibilities include bending, squatting, pulling, pushing, and/or lifting 35 pounds
  • Ensure day-to-day activities and time management align with the department goals
  • Ensure all quality aspects of this position
  • Perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Highly organized, detailed and able to perform duties with a high degree of accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communications skills and experience writing procedures
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and some problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years experience in a FDA regulated (or certified Quality System) within a Document Control or mid-level Quality Assurance position. Documented training to GMPs or industry Quality System standard or equivalent work experience.

Uses critical thinking skills to create original documents, reports and spreadsheets and interpret information furnished in written, oral or schedule form; able to make set goals based on available information and to plan work in order to meet deadlines; able to be resourceful at problem solving and formulates appropriate responses to requests for services and information from internal or external customers; able to project likely future occurrences based on current or historic data.
