This role is an Aerospace Configuration Management (CM) Drafting Technician who creates Change Requests (CRs), completes redline requirements and updates engineering blueprints. This role will be for 60-90 days.


What You Will Do:

  • Create clear engineering Change Requests for aircraft parts.
  • Create redline prints and cover sheets and any related documents
  • Complete redline review post creation
  • Update classification changes
  • Incorporate approved CR 2D drawings.

What You Will Bring:

  • Prefer a AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • OR in the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft office (Excel, Word), Adobe
  • Team Center
  • Experience NX
  • X classification experience a plus

Pay Range: $29/hour-$32/hour

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements: This role is considered onsite in Rockford, IL.

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.  
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.  

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel between assembly plant and test plant.


Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
