Job description

Quality Assurance Associate for a skincare warehouse fulfillment located in the Irvine CA area.  This position reports to the Head of Quality and Compliance. NOTE:  Will consider recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, adapts quickly, and brings a curious, proactive approach to the role. 
This is a long-term Temporary position to cover a leave of absence through the end of September or October 2026. Seeking to start candidate asap. Hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch, Paying $21-22/hr depending on experience. 
Essential Functions:
The Quality Assurance Associate supports the administration of the Quality Management System by maintaining training records, managing quality documentation, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping for compliance activities. This role focuses on quality documentation, training coordination, and administrative support to ensure the integrity and accessibility of
quality records.
Essential Duties:
Training Administration
- Coordinate quality training programs and maintain training records
- Track training completion and ensure personnel remain compliant with required
   training.
- Assist in organizing training materials and sessions for quality-related
   procedures.
Quality Documentation Management
- Maintain controlled quality documents within the company’s document
   management system.
- Ensure proper version control for SOPs, forms, and quality records.
- Organize and archive documentation in accordance with company procedures
Compliance Record Maintenance
- Maintain logs and records required for quality compliance activities.
- Support preparation of documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
Quality Administrative Support
- Assist with preparation of quality reports and documentation packages.
- Track quality-related actions and ensure records are updated.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Min 2 years Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience with documentation
  or administrative support in regulated environments preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills:

Work Environment
- Fast-paced fulfillment center handling high-touch skincare products.
- Small team environment requiring flexibility, collaboration, and multitasking.
- Requires adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and efficiency-
  driven workflows.
- Moderate to loud noise levels from machinery and equipment.
- Work performed in a mid-size distribution or fulfillment center.
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products up to 40–50 lbs (with or without
  reasonable accommodation)
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach to access product at various
  heights 
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as picking, packing, scanning,
  labeling, and shelving items
- Ability to work in a warehouse/fulfillment environment with noise levels, and
   moving equipment
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, or other
   material-handling tools (training provided)
- Sufficient visual acuity and manual dexterity to read labels, verify product, and
  handle  inventory accurately
