Job description

Position Summary: This position works closely with operations to ensure the quality and accuracy of incoming/outgoing production equipment.
Job Description:
Sustains quality in correlation with industry standards and customer requirements.
Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records.
Performs internal inspection. Responsible for doing visual inspection on vessel layout, fit and weld inspections. Knows how to read blueprints and ISO drawings. Knows how to use weld inspection tools. Witness hydro testing on vessels and pipe spools.
Participates in the investigation of faulty work and consult with customers and management team
Interacts with customers, suppliers, vendors and division personnel regarding quality and production issues. Attends job production pre-planning meetings.Complete quality management documents associated with product disposition, including non-conformance documentation
Audits and recommends improvement to inspection processes.
Assist in design reviews on cross functional teams to ensure that product conforms to specifications.
Use of knowledge in ASME Section VIII and Section IX code and oilfield production equipment
Preferred Experience:
two (2) years industrial experience
Physical Strain:
Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights
Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds
Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures or in a shop environment
