RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Document Control Specialist - Construction Projects in Austin, TX (Onsite).
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of project documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance across drawings, RFIs, submittals, and technical records in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage document lifecycle (creation, QC, routing, archival)
* Process RFIs, submittals, and drawing packages
* Upload and organize documentation in EDMS systems
* Ensure accuracy, formatting, and compliance standards
* Track document status and workflows across projects
* Maintain logs, reports, and distribution lists
* Partner with project teams to support timelines
* Assist with process improvements and documentation standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-10+ years of document control experience
* Background in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments
* Experience with EDMS platforms (SharePoint, Aconex, OpenText, etc.)
* Strong Excel skills and experience with Bluebeam or Adobe
* Ability to manage high-volume documentation across multiple projects
* Strong organizational and communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
