Job description

Position Summary: This is an entry level inspection position, with duties split evenly
across documentation and mechanical inspection. Processes and maintains project
documents as per customer requirements. Maintains measurement data. Transfers
customer-related quality data to customer provided quality data sheets. Maintains a
comprehensive filing system and customer data package. May also maintain documents to
be retained in the document control center. May collect and maintain files of the latest
revision level documentation necessary to define product configuration and control
technical or manufacturing processes. May distribute latest revision level documentation to
appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution.
Performs job in accordance with document control practices. Maintain product shipment
documentation and perform mechanical inspections as needed. Work closely with the
mechanical inspection team to move parts to services and customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Understands and reviews of all current quality standards.
• Assist with customer quality audits and answer corrective action requests as
assigned.
• Actively contributes to culture of continuous improvement
• Maintain filing system.
• Assist with customer returns.
• Work with other departments to manage files.
• Complete quality projects as assigned.
• Understand and verify compliance with customer and industry standards
• Mechanically inspect to complete data collection for customer documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Experience and Education:
o 1-3 years of relevant experience or steady employment history
o High school degree or equivalent
o Best suited for a candidate with growth aspirations as training will be
provided on the job.
• Technical Skills:
o Excellent attention to detail
o Working knowledge of customer specifications and requirements
o Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
o Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris
o Ability to understand and obey all safety requirements
o Intermediate computer skills
o Familiarity with office 360 software products, i.e. Excel/Word/Outlook
o Problem solving abilities
o Basic arithmetic skills
o Comfortability working with fractions and decimal equivalents
o Ability to measure and inspect using hand tools such as micrometers/calipers
a plus.

o Long periods of sitting
o Occasional part lifting and handling
