Job description

This is a full-time, hybrid position for an Associate Attorney licensed in Virginia with our offices located in Montgomery County, MD. The Associate Attorney with ideally 1-3 years experience will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in real estate, fiduciary litigation and/or business law. The role also involves utilizing skills to resolve disputes and ensure favorable outcomes for clients.

Note: Candidate will only practice in Northern VA, not other parts of the state.

Qualifications:

  • Attorney with 1-3 years of experience.

  • Should be licensed in all of DC/MD/Virginia or either one.

  • Proficiency in Law, with a specialization or experience in Virginia Real Estate Law & or and or civil litigation, business law.

  • Primary: Business law, real estate, fiduciary litigation

    Additional Considered Experience: Immigration, bankruptcy, personal injury

  • Strong Legal Advice and Negotiation skills to effectively support and advocate for clients

  • Effective Research abilities to prepare case strategies and legal documentation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

  • Active membership in the VA State Bar Association

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
