Reporting Structure: Regional Field Director
Rate of Pay: $20 per hour
Job Classification: Non exempt
Schedule: Part time
Location: On-site - Colorado Springs, Colorado

Role Description
Shawmut Services is seeking highly motivated candidates for the roles of Office Assistant for a petitioning program. Office Assistants will provide support to their Regional Field Director (RFD) and Quality Control Team by scanning documents and offer general office support.
Office Assistants must be true self-starters, disciplined, and able to maintain a high level of organization. Shawmut provides comprehensive job training for new hires and we strongly encourage potential applicants who have the qualified skills for the position to apply, regardless of prior campaign experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Scan the daily intake of petitions
  • Develop and maintain a strict process for documenting and storing petitions
  • Other office duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Prior organizing experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship)
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Ability to work long and unusual hours (some weekends and nights, especially leading up project deadlines
  • Detail oriented and comfortable to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
  • Access to a reliable vehicle is preferred
  • All applicants must possess a laptop computer, cell-phone, and reliable vehicle
    • Laptop hardware minimums: 250GB hard drive, 8GB ram, i5 intel chip or equivalent
