Computer Engineer IV
Charleston, SC
On-site Salary Range: $67.31-$76.92 per hour MANDEX currently has a need for a Computer Engineer IV to join our team in Charleston, SC. The Engineer responsible for overall work being accomplished and work with the Government IPT Lead Project Leads, Lead Systems Engineers, and the COR, as applicable on all matters related to the activities on this Task Order. The Engineer shall collaborate with Government Project Lead to develop and maintain a detailed work plan to include specific tasks, assignments, milestones, and schedules. The Engineer shall be responsible for ensuring all deliverables and requirements are satisfied on time and within budget. Your future duties and responsibilities: • Support delivery of recurring security patches and application updates for Marine Corps Intelligence System Programs of Record (PORs) at Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic. • Execute integration, functional, and operational testing to ensure system reliability and performance across deployed environments. • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities to validate system functionality, compliance, and mission readiness. • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect systems in accordance with DoD standards and best practices. • Manage configuration management (CM) processes, including version control, change tracking, and system baselining. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and scalability for system users and stakeholders. • Support development and sustainment of secure, interoperable, and resilient systems across C5ISR, IO, and EIS domains. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable and survivable mission capabilities aligned with operational requirements. • Streamline update and deployment processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and system uptime. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Experience:
• Ten (10) years with master’s or 14 years with bachelor’s degree of experience in computer design, software development or computer networks.
• Five (5) years of technical experience in support of Navy or Marine Corps Command and Control Systems. Education:
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in Computer Science. Certification:
• Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) • Other relevant certifications may include: o Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification: Microsoft role-based certifications, Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud certifications, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), and Docker Certified Associate (DCA). Security Level:
• Must be eligible for a TS/SCI Clearance Other Requirements:
