Job description

Location: Texas (TX) | Employment Type: Full Time - 40 hours per week | Job Level: T4 | Work Preference: Hybrid | Job Code: 244740

Job Description: Position Overview

Bridge traditional on-premises networking with modern cloud-native architecture in a role focused on Azure network infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and hybrid-cloud operations. This position offers the opportunity to apply a NetDevOps approach to building scalable, automated Azure environments while improving consistency, deployment speed, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the design and management of sophisticated Azure network topologies, including VNETs, Azure Virtual WAN, and Virtual Hubs (vHubs).
  • Develop, version, and maintain Terraform modules to provision corporate network resources across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for network infrastructure to minimize manual intervention, reduce configuration drift, and accelerate deployment cycles.
  • Use modern configuration management tooling to manage network appliance state and ensure configurations align with corporate security policies and compliance standards.
  • Provide Tier 3 technical escalation support for complex connectivity issues.
  • Lead proactive capacity planning for cloud and hybrid traffic flows.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of combined Development and DevOps experience with Cloud Service Providers, with Azure preferred.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), logging, and monitoring tools.
  • Deep technical proficiency in Microsoft Azure network services, including:
    • Load Balancers
    • Application Gateways
    • Private Endpoints
    • Network Security Groups (NSGs)
  • Proven experience developing reusable Terraform modules and managing remote state files in a collaborative team environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of fundamental networking protocols within a hybrid-cloud context.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field strongly preferred. A combination of equivalent technical certifications and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.

  • One or more of the following certifications, or similar/equivalent certifications:
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

    • Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert
    • Puppet Certified Professional

  • Experience deploying and managing Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls in Azure and physical appliances via Panorama.
  • Experience designing and supporting Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN solutions.
  • Experience managing and maintaining Microsoft Teams Telephony infrastructure.
  • Competency in PowerShell for task automation and API integrations.Hands-on experience with SolarWinds for performance metrics and network health monitoring.
  • Foundational understanding of Zero Trust architecture and micro-segmentation strategies.
  • Proficiency with Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi solutions, including cloud-based dashboard management, access point deployment, and RF optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of 802.1X authentication and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions using Cisco ISE to secure wired and wireless endpoints.
