Why This Role Matters
In this hands-on role, you'll be a key technology partner supporting both IT and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll help ensure our hardware, software, and production systems run smoothly so employees can focus on what they do best. This position offers strong exposure to IT/OT systems, meaningful user interaction, and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement projects.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-user IT and MES support, providing Level 1 and 2 assistance.
  • Receive, prioritize, document, and resolve incoming system and application requests in a timely and customer-focused manner.
  • Support employees throughout their technology journey so they can effectively perform their roles.
  • Perform hands-on desktop support including installing, configuring, and upgrading hardware and software.
  • Support enterprise applications such as Email, Intranet, ERP, and MES systems.
  • Create, manage, and administer user accounts and access.
  • Monitor IT and MES system performance to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Document solutions, maintain a knowledge base, and identify trends to proactively prevent future issues.
  • Participate in IT/OT projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain reporting environments and support data reliability.
  • Stay current with evolving technologies and best practices.
  • Follow Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System requirements.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications such as email, ERP, and intranet systems.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a high-demand environment.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of IT experience.
  • Microsoft, A+, or similar technical certifications.
  • Experience supporting Oracle, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or high-demand operational environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL database monitoring.
  • Experience in a client-server environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PCs, peripherals, networked printers, LAN interfaces, and thin-client environments.
  • Hands-on support experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, RDP, and related tools.
  • Report writing and reporting system support experience.
